Shaun graduated from Iowa State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering. His career started as a systems analyst with Unisys Corporation in Clear Lake in January of 1988. Working with personal computers and the first local area networks as they hit corporate America in the late 1980’s gave Finn his start in the computer support field.

 

Finn continued his work in the computer industry with TeamQuest Corporation in the early 1990’s.By this time he was a network analyst responsible for managing growing networks and servers. With the Internet explosion, soon network security and email became major issues. Wanting to take his skills outside the walls of TeamQuest, Finn attended the FastTrac program at the Pappajohn Center in Mason City. Armed with a business plan, he convinced TeamQuest to start a consulting division in 1997.

 

TeamQuest Computer Services grew into TQ Technologies in 2000.

 

When TeamQuest decided to exit the consulting business in 2002, Finn acquired the division. Today TQ Technologies is a North Iowa leader in computer sales and services with hundreds of satisfied customers. Its offerings include Dell computer sales, server and workstation support, and network security.

Reagan Elsbury – IT management professional

Reagan started his IT career with TeamQuest Corporation in 1999. Having obtained his Microsoft NT4 MCSE certification, he supported PCs, servers, and Macintosh systems. He soon branched into networking, establishing the first VPN connection at TeamQuest, linking their US and European offices.

 

He continued his education, having graduated from Hamilton College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in IT Management. In 2003 Elsbury updated his Microsoft Certification to include Windows 2003 Server.

 

In addition to all Windows Operating Systems, Elsbury has expertise in Linux and Macintosh. He also has experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and routers. Over the years he has continued to hone his hardware repair, installation, and troubleshooting skills.
